Continuous improvement in and awareness of many areas which encompass quality, safety and standards in our allied fields are essential for better patient outcomes in our rapidly changing medical landscape. 

Introduction

The Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology aims to advance quality, safety and standards in the field of radiology. With an unwavering commitment to patient care and the need for continual improvement, the AOSR plays its role to shape the landscape of value-based radiology in Asia-Oceania for better patient health outcomes. 


Today, there is awareness that many environmental problems such as pollution, inadequate water supply and high carbon footprint is contributing to problems that impact the patient's health. Safety then, must encompass all activities in the chain of provision of medical healthcare, and specifically in our allied disciplines of radiology, radiotherapy, theranostics and medical physics/biomedical engineering to planetary health.


Quality, Safety and Standards is an integral aspect of Value-based Radiology.
